Do you live in a small studio apartment and want to feng shui-it-up?
We talked with feng shui Master Val Biktashev, author of The Complete Idiot's Guide to Feng Shui to help get us started. Val shares three easy tips to incorporate feng shui in your home if you live in a small apartment:
1. Add Christmas tree ornaments. "Add shiny balls for protection. Metallic Christmas tree ornaments are perfect. Place them in a glass vase or hang them from the ceiling. The cluster of metals helps prevent arguments."
2. Sit with your back to the wall. "This creates a sense of security. If it isn't an option, then hang a mirror in front of you or angled above your desk, so that you can see anyone walking into the room."
3. Listen to some heavy metal tunes. "Provide some sort of "sound of metal" during the daytime. A chiming clock, or even music on your iTunes will do." Van Halen, anyone?
