For the first time ever, the color authority named two winners for 2016, but in the eyes of our readers there was only one victor.
Every December, Pantone announces the singular hue that will pervade our homes and our closets in the upcoming months. But this year, they chose two: Rose Quartz and Serenity.
The soft pink and purply blue don't come as too much of a surprise though, since we did predict that they'd be two huge colors in home design for 2016. (Not to toot our own horn or anything.)
And while it is nice to have more than one option to decorate with next year, we can't help but feel compelled to pick a favorite. By the looks of it, you can't help it either.
We posted two photos to Instagram — one room decked out in soft Serenity blue, and one swathed in lovely Rose Quartz pink — and, based on the number of likes, the winner is...
Rose Quartz, coming in with a considerably higher number of likes than Serenity.
