Kesha has gotten some interesting ink in the past, from neon whales to pastel narwhals to dainty smiley faces. Judging by the designs she’s gotten recently, the songstress seems to have a thing for colorful tats with deeper meanings, which she often freely shares with her fans. So, when we came across a rainbow skull on her feed, we were instantly intrigued. Then, we noticed that she had posted two skulls, briefly causing us to wonder if we were seeing double. Turns out, it was actually an adorable matching moment.

Turns out Kesha and Brad Ashenfelter visited tattoo artist Walter McDonald together, for a matching ink moment that was total relationship goals. The duo declared their love in the most permanent way possible — by getting matching, colorful skulls (Kesha’s included a rainbow, while Brad’s sported fangs). While Kesha kept quiet on the significance of the design, she did share some emojis in the caption (a skull, rainbow, whale, unicorn, crab, ghost, robot, crescent moon, heart, and rocket ship) — so make of that what you will. We think it’s probably code for “I love you.”
