For those days when mama needs a drink on the fly, we’ve got the perfect concoction—the Moscow Mule. This classic and delicious, ginger-lime cocktail is famous for its subtle, spicy kick and notable copper cup that keeps the drink ice cold. The recipe is minimal, easy, and takes literally no time at all to make. We’re fairly certain this one will be a winner and become your next go-to! Cheers!
Ingredients:
- Ice
- 1½ ounces of vodka
- ½ ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice
- Ginger beer, to taste (not ginger ale!)
- Fresh mint, optional
Start by squeezing fresh lime juice into a Moscow Mule cup, mug, or regular glass—whatever tickles your fancy, but these copper cups truly make the drink extra refreshing. Add ice cubes about 3/4 of the way up and then pour in the vodka.
Squeeze in the fresh lime juice.
Top it off with your preferred amount of cold ginger beer and stir.
Lastly, you can garnish with a lime wedge or sprig of mint like we did, for an added boost of flavor.
