She used her love for clothes to create an incredibly stylish space.
Naina Singla spends her days working as a fashion stylist and writing for her blog, Style'N. So it's no surprise that when she set out to make over her D.C.-area home, she'd draw loads of inspiration from her personal style.
To help translate her fashion sensibilities to her new space, Singla teamed up with designer Joanna Abizaid of Cline Rose, and the results were everything the style maven hoped for. "Finding the right designer took some time, but I couldn't be happier with Joanna's work," Singla told Elle Decor. "She did a fabulous job executing a design that really took into account my vision and ideas for my home."
Singla and Abizaid's teamwork is evident at every turn. "Each room has its own individual personality, but together, the house has a natural flow, as it relates to colors and styles," Singla said.
But that wasn't always the case. Take a look at what Singla's living room, dining room and kitchen looked like before — and how it was transformed — in the photos below.

The Dining Room After:
"I wanted the dining room to be modern and for it to be a fun room in the house since we do so much entertaining," Singla said. "I think Joanna did a great job capturing that energy with the bold wallpaper and accent mirror."

The Living Room After:
"I envisioned the living room as white, clean, minimalist and most important, inviting," Singla said. "So often people don't use their living rooms, and for me it was important to design this space as a place to entertain friends and family. I also wanted to integrate a cozy feel, so my husband and I could relax and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day."

The Kitchen After:
"I love the big island in the kitchen, and it's the area where we spend the most time as a family. So we focused in on the island, and chose lighting it and really completed the space. Now, the kitchen is even more the 'heart' of our home." -Naina Singla
