Why work out when you could just take a nap instead?
[post_ads]In all seriousness, working out is important for your physical health – but so is sleeping. That’s why one U.K.-based gym invented a class where, instead of breaking a sweat, you catch up on your ZZZs.
The hour-long class, aptly titled “Nap-ercise,” begins with 15 minutes of stretching (meant to relax and loosen your body, priming it for a good rest) followed by a 45- minute nap.
“The frantic nature of modern life means that few of us seem to get enough sleep, and if you’re a parent, a good night’s rest becomes even more of a luxury,” wrote the gym on its website. “So we’re created a new group class — group napping classes for exhausted mums and dads to help boost their mental and physical wellbeing.”
It might seem odd to go to the gym just to nap, but going to a designated space to nap on your lunch break, free from any distractions, is a solid way to catch some stress-free, guilt-free sleep.
