Sure, your wedding gown is important, but frankly, your guests will probably remember the food and booze you serve on your big day more than the shade of white you wear.

But before you stress over the price of bartenders or begin calling every bakery around, check out Pinterest's 2017 Wedding Report.
The social-media site looked at what brides-to-be are saving to their
~dream wedding~ boards and found four tasty trends that'll inspire you
to recreate Pinterest-perfect weddings IRL.
Brunch Weddings
If
you love brunch as much as any Millennial woman, use your big day as an
excuse to host your most awesome one yet. According to Pinterest's
report, the search term "brunch weddings" is up 35 percent from 2016.
The creative alternative to the traditional cocktail-hour-and-dinner
party features espresso shots, waffle cakes, and mimosa bars.
Drip Cakes
If your wedding
cake isn't a drip cake, is it even a cake? The dessert trend is all over
Instagram and Pinterest, with searches up 437 percent from last year.
There's something insanely sexy about a cake with ganache dripping down the side of it, after all.

DIY Drink Bars
Bartenders and open bars can be extremely expensive.
The alternative? DIY drink bars, searches for which increased by 50
percent on Pinterest in the past year. The idea behind these bars is to
create something beautiful — while letting guests serve themselves your
signature cocktail.
They're also highly photogenic, which is always an added benefit:
Amped-Up Cocktail Hour
Cocktail hour as you know it — with passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks you have to order at the bar — is so 2016. This wedding season, couples are curating food-and-drink
pairings for their guests. With "amped-up cocktail hour" searches up 60
percent, you might find yourself snacking on mini rum-and-Cokes with
fried-chicken bites, or sliders paired with beer shots, at your next
bash.
