1
Pale Dove Greys
Classic dove grey has always been the go-to wall color for Parisians — and why break a good thing? "The name says it all," says Giannasio. "Soothing, contemplative, refined, timeless. It's a color that works well in light-filled spaces, where it truly comes to life." Try a feather-light grey in bedrooms, or even a meditation space for a tranquil, calming effect.
2
Power Pinks
The typically feminine tint is making a very modern comeback. But instead of saturating an entire room with a rosy shade, use a more muted pink as a neutral or layer it into a monochromatic space for an unexpected pop. "This version feels both fresh and also happily retro," says Giannasio. "And it pairs beautifully with blues, soft grays, and crisp greens."
3
Earthy Taupes
"A complex, sophisticated neutral if ever there was one," describes Giannasio. Rich taupes with rustic, sandy undertones are the easiest neutrals to incorporate to a space — whether as an accent with accessories like throw pillows or a larger piece, like a rug. You'll instantly add depth and warmth to the room.
4
New Charcoals
If you're looking for something more dramatic, try a grey with violet undertones. This color is great for spaces furnished with wooden and leather pieces. "I love it in home offices and dens, but I've even used it in a kitchen," adds Giannasio.
