This year has been a trying one, which is why we can all take inspiration from Zendaya's 5 rules for life. The 20-year-old triple threat (yes, she sings, dances, and acts) plans to change the world one day, but you can argue she already has. Just in the past few years, Zendaya has spoken out about the importance of taking style and beauty risks, race and hair discrimination, why Photoshop is so problematic, and why fashion isn't just for one body type. So she knows a thing or two about how to become the next Oprah, basically.

In the above video, Zendaya shares the five ways she would change the world. The empowering "rules" speak to making sure everyone can receive an education (both her parents are teachers, too), female empowerment (lifting each other up instead of tearing each other down), self-love (as in, always be your biggest fan), getting rid of all "wanted ignorance" (people should want to learn and get outside their comfort zones), and never letting people determine what you wear or how you style your hair. That last one is especially important, since Zendaya switches up her hair so much, it's hard to keep track.

But as she says, "You have to do what makes you happy." She acknowledges that not everyone is going to like it but says having conversations is the important part.Zendaya is so wise beyond her years, we could have those conversations with her every day of the week. Watch the above video, and prepare to be inspired by her, too.
