Known for wearing her own designs and those of the fashion elite, Ivanka Trump stepped out of her Washington, D.C. home on Monday wearing a simple black dress from Target.
A grand departure from the previous evening's look — Trump attended the Ford Theater Gala in a $5,500 maroon J Mendel gown
— the dress was a piece from Target's collaboration with designer
Victoria Beckham. The simple frock, accented with a calla lily,
originally retailed for a mere $35, but is currently on clearance for $17.50.

According to Target's
website, you'll have to make a trip if you'd like to add the
first-daughter's look to your own wardrobe — the piece is available
in-store only. Considering the fact that Trump frequently dons pricy,
inaccessible designs by designers like Roland Mouret ($2,995) and Caroline Herrera ($5,000), she's receiving praise for wearing a more accessible label.
If you jumped on Victoria Beckham's launch at Target
back in early April, you might already have this dress in your closet.
Wearing a dress before a celebrity gets their hands on it? Looks like
Ivanka Trump just started taking fashion advice from us.
