Mindy Kaling is Reportedly Expecting Her First Child

One source told E! the pregnancy was "an unexpected surprise," but that it shouldn't interfere with her production schedules for her upcoming projects. Mindy just wrapped up shooting for the film A Wrinkle in Time, set to hit theaters in March 2018. In the film, which based on the Madeleine L'Engle novel, she plays the characters Mrs. Who. According to EW, she is currently shooting the final season of her show The Mindy Project, which will be available on Hulu in September.

The celeb working mom circle—OK, we just created that circle in our heads—may soon be introducing a new member: Mindy Kaling.

[post_ads]Earlier today, E! reported that multiple sources have confirmed the actress is expecting her first child.

Although Mindy has yet to confirm the report, if it's true, this is pretty exciting news for the actress, who has previously spoken out about wanting kids.

According to E!, back in 2015, she told Yahoo! Style, "I think I've decided that unlike everything else in my life, I'm going to be fast and loose about kids. I'm going to not actively plan, but if it happens, it would happen." She also said she hopes to have kids "maybe imminently."

As for who she would start a family with, she said, "I'm not cavalier about who I would have a kid with. But the thing I ask every parent that I really admire, the one comment they all have is that they wish they had kids earlier."
