Back in 2002, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bündchen was declared world's highest earning model, according to Forbes' annual ranking. She then went on to cling on to the title for an impressive total of fifteen years.
But today, Gisele's reign is finally over as Kim K's half-sister Kendall Jenner has now officially been named the world's highest-paid model, raking in no less than $22 million in 2017 alone
[post_ads]While Kendall has surely been the most talked-about model in recent times, lining up scandal after scandal with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, she's also landed major campaigns with Adidas, La Perla and Estée Lauder.
And that's not even counting the number of high-end fashion houses she walked for during Fashion Week. Furthermore, she must be making a pretty penny from her new line of clothes and who could forget her disastrous collab with Pepsi?
All that (kind of) hard work is apparently paying off as the model, who boasts 85 million Instagram followers, is now earning more than any other in the industry at just 22 years old.
Gisele Bündchen is still on the podium, coming in just behind Kendall in second place with $17.5 million and in front of Chrissy Teigen in third place with $13.5 million. The Hadid sisters, Ashley Graham and Karlie Kloss all earned their way into the top 10.
The news comes a couple of months after Kendall Jenner was named 'Fashion Icon of the Decade' in a decision that baffled the world. Well done nonetheless, we suppose.
