When it comes to shopping for home decor, part of the excitement is the hunt-the feeling of finding that perfect piece in an unexpected place. It's addictive. Of course, I absolutely love IKEA, Target, and Wayfair as much as the next person, but certain times it's necessary to search for the diamond in the rough-and, for the most part, chain stores just won't cut it for that.
So, I tapped my friends at Foursquare, a location technology platform, to reveal the top-rated furniture and home stores in the United States. They analyzed store ratings, proprietary hotness scores, visit popularity, and tip sentiment to come up with this list. Here are the 24 best home decor boutiques you should consider visiting when shopping for those unique finds.
